Physical materials marketplace
MetalSite provides listings, requests, proposals and messaging. It does not hold funds, provide escrow, execute exchange trades or guarantee supply, quality, delivery or a counterparty’s performance. The buyer and seller arrange and remain responsible for their own final contract and settlement.
Accounts and content
Keep your login secure. Do not submit misleading listings, impersonate a business, post illegal goods or disclose another person’s private information. You must have permission to share your content. Administrators may review, reject, remove or suspend accounts and content for misuse.
Commercial decisions
Confirm specifications, inspection, price, tax, import and export requirements, payment and shipping before entering a contract. An acceptance in the deal room is recorded as agreement in principle; complete the required commercial documents with your counterparty.
Historical information and estimates
Archive content describes earlier periods. Calculator results are estimates. Market observations, when present, include their source and observation time and may be delayed.
