Seller Connection: present a lot buyers can assess

Prepare a clear material listing, respond to requirements and document the commercial details.

Updated 1 min read

A useful offer lets a buyer decide whether the material fits before asking for a price. Start in your dashboard with a material listing or a response to a published buy request.

Describe the supply accurately

Include metal, grade, form, condition, quantity, unit, location and lead time. Use the dimensions and description fields for tolerances, surface condition, processing, packaging and supporting documentation. Do not describe secondary material as prime.

Show what the buyer would receive

Use current photographs of the actual material where available. Explain whether stock is on hand or made to order. Identify defects, mixed grades, short lengths or limits on traceability before the buyer makes a decision.

Submit for review

Listings and company submissions are reviewed before publication. An old supplier listing recovered from the archive does not create a current company account or verification status.

Respond with a complete proposal

Check the requested specification and quantity. State exclusions and substitutions explicitly. Confirm price unit, currency, delivery term and named place, payment terms and validity. Use the private conversation to resolve questions.

Review the quotation checklist and inspection and traceability before agreeing the final sale.
