In the recovered glossary, A.G.C. means automatic gauge control. Hydraulic cylinders form part of the rolling-mill system used to adjust the roll gap and control strip thickness.
When buying or selling: specify the finished thickness tolerance and inspection basis. A mill-equipment description is not a certificate for a coil.
