Historical material recovered from the former site. Names, contacts, services and commercial claims describe that period; they are not current MetalSite offers or affiliations.
The recovered 23 January 2001 release described changes to the original Product Guide, Auction and QuoteFinder. It highlighted a bidding shopping cart, line-item and overall order weights, and a FileBox for historical inquiries.
The record illustrates recurring metal-trading needs: clear quantities, organized requests and a durable commercial record. Historical transaction counts in that release have not been carried into current platform statistics.
This page summarizes a recovered historical record. Former personnel, products, user counts and business arrangements do not describe the current MetalSite service.
